In her writing, Daphné is seeking ways to connect words and soul, playing with levels of consciousness and perspectives. Being trained as an actress, she has acted under the direction of Denis Marleau in Luna-Park and in Les trois derniers jours de Fernando Pessoa, she studied playwriting with Paula Vogel, and wrote a thesis on silent movies. She also taught acting and directing at Brown University and McGill University. Her play Saved from the Waters was published in 2008. Recently, she started translating television programs for PBS and the BBC, among others. Daphné lives in Montreal.
