“Artists are interesting creatures. We can be obsessive, dedicated, spirited and single minded in our pursuit for that perfect realisation of our art. We tend to be outsiders and are often that square peg in the round hole, so when you find an oasis like San Cresci you hold on tight -- for it’s that sense of belonging which welcomes you.”

Maria De Prada is part of the collective El Salón de los Invisibles.  The Salon was born as a refuge for two dreamers who shared a beer one night in Kreuzberg (Berlin).

The Salon is gestated as a multidisciplinary collective in 2018 with its first piece "Atrabilis" and is established in Girona.

So far the company has produced three pieces: Atrabilis about depression, #OmniaVanitas about burnout and attention deficit and finally Re-View about nomophobia. As the Salon has grown, it has also started to collaborate with other artists. For example, in 2022 we have worked with the Berlin-based collective Maleantes on their installation work "Le Caprice" and with the dance company Nilshelma on their latest dance piece O-Kulto,
