Terrell Taylor lives and works as an artist and art instructor in Meridian, Mississippi. She has a small studio in her home, where she produces visual research. The work is eclectic. Most of the work is mixed media; montage, collage and assemblage. Many if not most of her two-dimensional and three-dimensional works incorporate more than one material, so that the physicality and process of the making of the object is perceptible in the end result. She uses photographic processes to layer imagery in painting and printmaking.
