There is a beauty in form, whether in the human figure or a landscape. It is how that form is arranged on the painting surface and the movement it creates for the eye to follow that is of major concerne when I paint. I paint from life or on site until I get the overall effect, finish there is possible, then let the painting tell me what it needs.
