Rebecca Rath lives and works in wine country of Australia, Pokolbin Hunter Valley. She gained her BFA Honours from University of NSW and an Associate Diploma Arts from North Sydney Technical College. Her education has also lead to a mentorship with a master printmaker and a residency in Germany. She recently spent time in San Menaio Italy where she was resident artist at a hotel. She has held many solo and group shows both nationally and internationally. She has participated in many awards including a finalist for the Blake religious prize for art. Her work has been published in Australia, USA and Asia and is inspired by the rural landscape of her home town, Pokolbin. She lives on 25 acres of Australian bush with her husband, 2 beautiful boys, 3 horses, 5 acres of merlot, the family dog and veggie patch.
