Kris Lyon commenced her ceramic journey at 19 with 8 lessons at a Brisbane (Australia) night class. Enjoying the tactile earthy nature of clay as a vehicle for artistic expression, Kris went on to experiment with different techniques, mostly being drawn to hand building for its large breadth of working styles and huge possibility. Kris enjoys making work with inspiration coming from nature, architecture as well as fun, femininity and adornment.
